About me

I started practicing Pilates by attending a weekly matwork class in Kent in 2010. I was looking for something that would help me to recover from circuit training, daily cycle commute, running and horse riding. I always felt taller after my sessions and looked forward to my class! I began matwork training in 2011 as I wanted to be able to share that same feeling.

Over the last 10 years I have developed my repertoire, including training with Lindsay Wilcox-Reid as an Equipilates Biomechanics Trainer, giving me horse rider specific tools. I am a Biomechanics Coach, and I have completed my Level 1 Rossiter Bodywork Coaching. I am also qualified to work with pre and postnatal mums, having additionally trained with Mamas Pilates. I believe that this gives me a broad lens with which to assess movement and help improve patterns. I aim to provide classes that are relaxed and interesting. I am an avid reader and love to learn more about bodies in their entirety.

My other big passion is my horse and I enjoy riding around the Dorset countryside, making the most of the very lovely scenery. I spend the rest of my time running around after my two small boys and share the load as far as possible with my husband!
